Wonder Woman is a fictional character created by William Moulton Marston during the period of World War II and widely famous as a super heroine of DC comics.She is one of the super hero trilogy; Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman and a member of Justice League.This character made its first appearance in the year 1941 in ‘All Star Comics’ and in 1944 DC Comics took it up.

Wonder Woman is a princess of Amazons brought up on ‘Paradise Island’, Themyscira. Hippolyta is her mother and Antiope is her aunt.She won a contest and proved herself to be the most intelligent person and most skilled fighter amongst Amazons. At that time she was bestowed upon by the title of ‘Wonder Woman’ and was blessed with many powers and magic weapons by Gods.One day ‘Steve Trevor’, an Air Force pilot from the world of men, crash landed on this island.
