‘Justice League Task Force’ is both; a single player as well as multiplayer fighting video game. Blizzard Entertainment was the developer and Acclaim Entertainment was the publisher of this game which was released in October, 1995. All the DC Comics Justice League characters such as; Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Aquaman, the Flash, Green Lantern are involved in this game and they are shown fighting the super villains. The control of the superheroes is in the hands of the player and the player has to defeat the enemies. The enemies are Cheetah, Darkseid and Despero.

Darkseid, the enemy of the Superman attacks the Earth and destroys a military base. Now the player has to select one of the Justice League heroes to fight. That hero goes to inform other superheroes about the attack when they turn against him/her and there is a fight with each one of them. The player has to defeat the superheroes and it is later discovered that they were evil clones of those heroes sent by the enemy. Then the player has to fight Despero, Cheetah, the clone of Darkseid and finally the Darkseid himself. After Darkseid is defeated, the other superheroes who were captivated by him are released and the military base is won back.
