MK v/s DC is a fighting video game released in 2008 which was developed by Midway Amusement Games and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, and Midway Games was also the publisher. The genre of this game is crossover fighting and it’s both a single player and multiplayer video game. Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti outlined the story for this game. Clearly there are two groups; Mortal Kombat and DC Universe and the player has to select one group to play on behalf of.
The other group will invade the universe of this group and there occurs a battle between the two groups which the player has to try to win. New game play modes such as; ‘Falling Kombat’, ‘Rage mode’, ‘Klose Kombat’ and ‘Free-Fall Kombat’ and also the mini games like ‘Test Your Might’ are included in this video game. The members of Mortal Kombat group are; Baraka, Kitana,Kano, Jax, Liu Knag, Scorpion, Raiden,Shang Tsung, Sonya Blade, Sub-Zero and Shao Kahn. The members of DC Universe are; Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel, Darkseid, Catwoman, Deathstroke, Green Lantern, The Flash, Lex Luthor and The Joker. Both these groups contain both the superheroes and the super villains.
