More than the Wonder Woman story or the comics, what creates more gossips now a day, is the upcoming Wonder Woman movie. Even in past there were rumors that a new Wonder Woman movie or a television series is in progress and soon it will be released. But these rumors never turned out to be facts.

Even I was in school once and was quite famous. I used to top every exam so my teachers liked me and they would ask everyone to be like me. When I was in fourth class, there was an election for the post of the head girl. I knew I was going to win. But to my surprise, I didn’t. Later I came to know, everyone was afraid of me in class because I used to beat up people every now and then; with reason and without reason.

I was sitting in a corner and thinking about the upcoming project we had to work on in college. The coffee in my mug did not taste so good. Was it coffee? Or was it me? The project and the exam that was to follow…..tension, and more tension. But that little twit, my younger sister was enjoying. She was reading some comic. I put away my coffee mug and went to see what she was reading….and wow! It was my favorite Wonder Woman.

I really can’t help it! It’s a human tendency to find it difficult to get over, be it any damn thing. It’s like you are in your early teens and everything is rosy and bright and suddenly you come to know, you are an adopted child. 69th birthday of my favorite Wonder Woman gave me the same shock.

We friends were waiting for the upcoming issue of Wonder Woman and wanted to know what happened next. But to our surprise there was no consecutive issue. Suddenly out of no where there emerged an issue number 1 and I had to confirm if I was by mistake not transported to 1940s. To separate the old Wonder Woman from the new, transformed Wonder Woman, DC Comics invented a new idea.
