I was sitting in a corner and thinking about the upcoming project we had to work on in college. The coffee in my mug did not taste so good. Was it coffee? Or was it me? The project and the exam that was to follow…..tension, and more tension. But that little twit, my younger sister was enjoying. She was reading some comic. I put away my coffee mug and went to see what she was reading….and wow! It was my favorite Wonder Woman.

We had a little fight and I snatched the comic from her. May be I shouldn’t have done that. But anyways….I forgot the project and the exam! It was one of those newly released Wonder Woman series issue.Though I am not a big fan of the relaunch 2006, it was fun reading new series of Wonder Woman. And wow! What did I read there! DC Comics is going back to the old numbering and Wonder Woman issue no 600 is going to be published. Was I dreaming? Was I so much in tension that I was out of my mind? But yes! It was true. There was going to be Wonder Woman #600.

I shifted my attention to the news which read, Dan DiDio, the editor in chief; DC Comics had asked for 600 postcards from fans supporting Wonder Woman #600. They received 712 postcards by the deadline, which was 31st October 2009. As a result, they decided to switch the numbering from #44 to #600. The charge was going to be handed over to J. Michael Straczynski; the American writer, from issue number 601. Michael Babinski and Don Kramer were going to take over the art department and there were rumors that the new; actually the old; series, was going to begin with the destruction of Paradise Island.
